The Rebirth of the AXIS/I Navigator Timepiece after 24 Years
A few years after founding Angular Momentum in 1998, I worked on the design of the AXIS/I Navigator watch. By the end of 1999 the work was completed and production began in the spring of 2002 and the first deliveries started mid 2002 and by end of 2004 all
1000 pieces were sold .
Since then, I have received many inquiries about the AXIS/I and I also receive a steady
stream of AXIS/I watches back for servicing, which suggests that many of the watches are still being worn today.
After inspection of the toolings I assume it will be possibleto manufacture another batch of 100 pieces of this modelfor the 25th anniversary, in exactly the same designas 20 years ago and at the same price of USD 1,480.-
